Bruce passed away on April 1, 2010
Bruce suffered a massive heart attack. Heart disease runs on their dad's side of the family. Their father has had 3 stints and just this pass July had emergency double by-pass surgery. The family was informed that the 3 main valves of Bruce's heart were blocked 50, 85 and 95%. They said that he had passed away sometime early afternoon on Thursday, April 1st. He lived with his parents, who both work full time, so nobody was home. They had no idea that he was having any chest pains or shortness of breath.
His sister, Patti Campbell (on Facebook if you'd like to reach out) and the family are very appreciative of everyone that has sent prayers and thoughts of Bruce.
A service will be held Saturday April 10

I grew up with Bruce. We played baseball, basketball, and hung around when we could. I ran into Bruce again playing volleyball about 10 years ago. He was still a great athlete. My brother knew Bruce as well, and may have hung out with Bruce on many more occasions than I did. I'm sure if Mark were still here, he would say that Bruce was a good friend and a kind spirit, which is exactly how I will remember Bruce. I'm very sorry for your loss.Michael Meronek

I'll always remember Bruce as a great athlete and friend...we grew up together starting in kindergarten at South School...We used to have running races before school everyday...It was rare, but a great day if I could beat him...We played side by side in high school...I'm very sorry for your untimely loss of Bruce...My thoughts and prayers are with you all...Sincerely, Brian Donar
