As posted on FB, Class of '89 group:
I would like to offer my time & effort towards setting up our reunion. I would act as the key coordinator but our planning committee (which needs to be formed!) will help sort through ideas provided by EVERYONE (!) so we can have a fun & memorable event!

This is just outrageous! I'm completely blow away by the whole thing. When is this reunion expected to be? Best to everyone.

Homecoming weekend would be ideal.
August is a little crazy with birthdays and getting the kids ready to go back to school. This year will be more crazy for me with 3 going to school - yikes!
Once school is in session and we are in a routine it is much easier to do things like this.

I agree that Homecoming weekend is a good idea. I remember going to the Homecoming game in 1999 and it was awesome! By the way, hello to Michelle, Jayson, Melissa and Christine. I'm going to send this site to others I still have contact with. Stay tuned...

Wow!
This is starting to take off!
I spent some time today doing some scanning from our lovely 1989 Yearbook.
I hope that there are no objections if I start posting our senior pics...
I really enjoy looking at everyone's new pics they ar posting but confess to having to look back at the yearbook to remember how peopole used to look.
Thanks for everything, Kristine!!!

And thanks to everyone out there for sharing this site.

This is pretty cool indeed! Great job Kristine...and whomever else has been involved thus far. It is really beginning to take off. Hello to all of you out there. Jayson Baker...wow, shocked to see you respond so quickly. I am already going back in my mind recapturing some of the old times...

As for the reunion, either time is good for me...for I am flexible with schedules. Homecoming sounds cool. Since many of us do have children it would be cool to have them involved in say the following day perhaps at a forest preserve. Just a thought.

I just bought an awesome scanner & was going to start pulling out old photos. Was also going to start throwing pics on each of your pages!!! :)
I checked the WHS calendar & nothing is posted for October yet. I'll have to call next week to get the Homecoming date. And then we'll schedule everything else from there.

Really happy to see the responses to far! Keep 'em coming! Surveys will be heading your way soon!

Hey All,

Tom B. got me up to speed as to when the reunion may happen. Next fall could work for Christa and I. I'll check in every so often to make sure I'm aware how things are shaping up.

Hi Bill!!! This crazy internet thing...I can't get over it.

Hey all! I can't wait to see all of you at the reunion. Melisa, just let Vanessa watch all your chillins'. That ought to set her straight. I will send Taylor over and the kids can have a free for all!!

Holy crap, Jamie Kruse! Welcome!!

Now, J, you know as well as I do that Vanessa and Taylor will be tied up probably in the middle of a ring of fire when we get home!!

Denise Kilian (Adkins-Siwierka)

Hey everyone! Hard to believe 20 years has passed already. Hope to see everyone in October. It'll all depend on what weekend it falls on if I can attend or not. It's so great reading what everyone has been up to and seeing pictures. How fun!!

Hey Tom! I didn't fall off the face of the earth. Mel, that may be true about the ring of fire. It can't be any worse than when they were younger. I seem to remember a couple dinner outings where they had us in tears with laughter. Yo, bartender, couple of drinks!

01/27/09 01:46 PM #19

Melisa Kendzierski (House)

LOL!
I am now crying because I am laughing so hard.
I totally forgot about Yo Bartender!
Yeah, they were trouble then but too cute for us to realize it.

It appears that this site is moving along! There's at least 1-2 more people being added almost every day! Keep reaching out to those classmates you're in touch with to help complete our list! I'm really looking forward to our reunion and seeing all of you there!

Kristine, you're really doing a great job. What a huge undertaking. I appreciate all the effort you're putting into this. Let me know if there is something that you could use some help with.

Hi Rachel, Hi Denise, Hi Jamie, Hi Melissa! I just asked Michelle to put Kathy Farmer on the classmate profile page. I sent her an email invite. Hope she joins us here. Tom

Hi All!!!!!

I cannot believe this is soooo much fun.
I also cannot believe we are all old! 20 years eh...

Great job on the website! Thanks for bringing us all back together....
October is great for the reunion!
And of course I would love to drag my kids to something that requires them to learn anything about their mom! They will be thrilled (ZZZZ) !
Just trying to be a good parent...

It is pretty pathetic, 20 year reunion! Where has all the time gone? What's worse, my daughter just walked in the room and said I am sooo gay for sitting here typing messages. Gotta love teenagers!!

01/27/09 10:10 PM #25

Michelle Heggaton (Janetis)

Jamie - I can totally relate!
Too funny!
I don't feel old enough to have teenagers, though!

01/27/09 10:38 PM #26

Rachel Kusreau

Hey to everyone!

lmao @ Jamie's comment... My son would never risk his life to say anything that bold to me. (He's only 12) He's slowly inching towards being a teenager, though.

Janice: I, too, would enjoy the torture of making my son meet all my high school classmates and their kids. Unfortunately, he'd probably love it and say "Can we do that again sometime??" He's really social and enjoys the company of both children and adults.

I feel really old, 20 year class reunion and my oldest is off to college this year!! Yikes!!
