Anita had an 8th grade party at her home for the kids who had graduated from St Mary's. It was so much fun. I also remember the art contest we had in 8th grade. We made designs with compasses, like snowflakes designs but then colored them in our favorite colors. Anita's came in second and mine came in first. Hers was prettier, I thought.

I remember that party at Anita's house too.  I also remember going to her house to play dolls.                               I was shocked to see she is no longer with us.                                                                                                     She was a great friend of mine at St Mary's.

Anita and I dated in our junior and senior years. But it could be truly said that I was her boyfriend more than she was my girlfriend. That means that she was in charge and directed our relationship. Not at all a bad thing. We had a pretty good time the two of us. When I returned from my year away to Brazil, I returned to WBSrHS and Anita eas employed full time as a secretary/dispatcher for a trucking firm. At that time we just sort of drifted apart. And we lost track of each other.

She was a very nice young woman and I guess will remain that way in my memory. That is young, very pleasant and with wonderfully soft voice. I am sorry and surprised to learn that she has left us.
