ClassCreator WPHS 1964 has been renewed for two more yearsat the Platiunm level - Platinum has some applications that I encourage everyone to try - these are descibed below.
1.Live ChatLive Chat with other Classmates including webcam, YouTube video, and Photo sharing capabilities. Also start private group chats using the Live Chat system.
2.Instant MessagingChat one-on-one privately with other members while you browse around the site. It's a great way to say hello to your Classmates instantly any time.
Note: Instant Messaging can be enabled or disabled by each individual member.
Please spread the word and invite classmates you are in touch with - this is a privute group! It has no advertising, no spam. The class Memorial List of those Tigers who have passed away is maintained on the site. These new freature should enable more contact and discussion among our classmates. Keep in touch!

Although the Reunion Committee has sent our numerous emails and Facebook posts containing information about our upcoming class reunion, it has occurred to me that we haven't reached out to the group on Classmates. So, forgive me if you have seen this information dozens of times but we don't want to miss anyone who may want to join in the fun.

Hotel rooms at discounted rates are available at Hyatt House in White Plains and Baymont Wyndham in Elmsford. We are planning other events beginning with a gathering on Friday evening Sept. 20th. We will announce details later. It is our hope that as many classmates as possible will attend and make this our best and most memorable reunion yet. Coronavirus Zoom Meet-up
Social Distancing at its best!
Hey Tigers - during this time of uncertainty and being in a most vulnerable group (70+), I wanted to share with you all what a few of us did Monday afternoon.
We had an hour-long Zoom meeting - it was fun, not too hard to do technically (you might want to talk to your kids or a grandchild if you need help) but we had a virtual face-to-face meeting. Bonnie Slavitt logged in from California, Vernita Jackson from Atlanta, Donna Rhodes Joseph from WP, me from Rye and a frustrated Betty Spence from Keene,NY up in the Adirondacks, which may lack some bandwidth.
It was great catching up with everyone. Most of us are "sheltering-in-place". Donna is in her second week of 'self-quaranting" so she can visit her new grandchild and we are all coping as best we can.
There will be another Zoom session next Monday (4PM Eastern Time). Please get the sotware (it's a free app) and join us. Tell everyone how you're coping. Share tips and survival stories. Bonnie suggests that everyone bring a joke to share. Also, BYOB.
The White Plains High School Class of 1964 will gather at Sam's of Gedney Way in WP on September 14, 2019. A combo cocktail reception with cash bar & dinner buffet with live DJ and dancing should keep us roaring throughout the evening.
Plans for Reunion Weekend activities are in process - possible Tiger Football game, walking tour of the high school, and a mixer Friday night (cash bar) at the Cambria Hotel on Main Street.
Per previous reunion feedback, efforts have been made to make the ticket price more moderate at $100 per person (was $150 in 2014). Watch this space for ticket purchasing details*. Also, please visit the WPHS Facebook Group for the lastest announcements.
