It is with sincerest saddness that I express my condolences to the Farrington family. Ard and I played football for the Tigers in 1963. Ard was the starting center and I was the left guard. We ware teammates and good friends. You see when you played for Coach Dean Loucks, we bcame BROTHERS. Just before he shipped out to Viet Nam, we had more than a few drinks and made him promise to come home alive so we could continue celebrating. Fortunately, the guy, I will always remember, who wasn't affraid of anything, came home alive but I sensed different.
Ard, I will always remember those crazy beautiful days playing football at WPHS. Rest in peace TIGER, Soldier and American.
