Myra Rosenberg Schwartz reported that Rosemary Medure-Collins passed away last week, 1 day shy of her 70th birthday. Rosemary pictured above at the 50th Reunion in October 2014 with Tom Vaillancourt, Vernita Jackson, and Roz Harris.
>>WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Rosemary A. Medure-Collins, a White Plains resident, died Tuesday, Jan. 19. She was 69.
She was born Jan. 20, 1946, in White Plains to the late Peter and Catherine Medure. She was a graduate of White Plains High School, Rockland Community College and Pace University. She was a registered nurse for Dr. Daniel Cameron in Mount Kisco. She was a member of the choir at the Church of the Magdelene, where she taught CCD and was on the church council. She was also in the choir at Kingsley House and a hypnotherapist.
She is survived by her partner, Nicolas Karafantis; her children, Deanna Peralta of New York City and Henry Collins of White Plains; siblings Pauline Tennant and Camenia Wasmer; and grandchildren Brianna, Jailen, Henry Jr., Keith, Isabella, Juliette, Alexander and Robert Jr.
She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Medure.
