David B. Watson

David B. Watson

David B. Watson, a resident of Alta Loma for 20 years, passed away March 29th, 2007 at the age of 61. Mr. Watson passed away of a heart attack in La Quinta, CA. Born Dec. 1st, 1945 in Wheeling, WV, Mr. Watson served in the United States Army as a Captain. He graduated from San Jose State University in Northern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He worked in the reprographics industry for over 30 years. David was an avid golfer, SCUBA diver, pilot, skier, Civil War Memorabilia collector and enjoyed baseball and NASCAR racing. He belonged to the Building Industry Association (BIA)Desert Chapter of Southern California for which he received the Building Industry Association (BIA) Lifetime Achievement award. David was a member of San Dimas Canyon Golf Club. His survivors include his wife, Robbie Watson; son Christopher Watson; and parents Carl and Bernese Watson, all of Alta Loma, CA. A graveside service will be held, Friday April 13th, 1:15pm at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging area # 2

Dave inscribed my yearbook as follows: Bill, Best of luck to a good pool player, and don't throw water on HiY retreats anymore. Dave  I don't remember Dave as spending much time at the Court Recreation & Billiards Club but I do fainty recall a Hi-Y trip to Albany tthat may have involved water balloons....RIP.
