I just used John and his 1967 Mustang as a sermon illustration this past Sunday. 

 

I remember the morning that John’s mom called to share that John was in a car accident in West Texas and that he was not going to make it. She asked me also to tell Christy which was very hard for me.  I will always remember John, John’s Mustang, and the Jet Skiing on Lake Worth in October.
