Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (WI) - February 7, 2001
Tim J. Conaty, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Milwaukee, WI. died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at age 46 following a courageous battle with renal cell cancer. Despite the devastating diagnosis, during the past 3 months, he displayed grace, dignity, and calm. His personal faith, the love shared with family and friends, his Irish wit and charm sustained him through those difficult days. Cherished son of the late Jack and Dolores Conaty. For 24 years Tim was best friend and beloved partner of Len Schulze. He will always be Maureen Conaty's beloved, younger brother. Tim is also survived by his dearest Aunt, Agnes Edwards and by his Uncle, Chuck Edwards. His very close friends of Fort Lauderdale, Michael Sims and Kevin Brown, were with Len and Tim through the end. He is further survived by his dear cousins, additional Aunt and Uncles and by his many, many friends. Tim was a very special person to all these people in both Milwaukee and Fort Lauderdale. Tim had his degree in accounting. The family wishes to express our deep appreciation to Dr. Belette and staff at Broward Oncology clinic and to the staff at Hospice by the Sea. Mass Saturday, February 10, 2001, AM. Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1701 East Oakland Park Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL. A gathering of family and friends will take place at Maureen's home in Milwaukee in mid January and at Len and Tim's home in Fort Lauderdale in March.
