I remember a couple of times trying to teach Brad how to row my boat. Afraid I was not very patient for a 12 year old was we spent several hours going in circles on the Whitefish river and it seemed to take hours to row up the the lake if I let Brad row. In later years I would see Brad from time to time when I traveled home from Army assignments. He had his problems, don't we all, but he was always nice to me and was easy to chat with. The world lost a kind soul when he passed on.
