Dennis Duncan was a really nice guy... Pam Fielding and I were in band about the time Dennis and the guys were in the gym playing basketball. I remember one time he tried to teach me and Pam Fielding a dance he called The Cold Duck? I think that's what we called it...We were gettin down with the Jackson Five.
Dennis was a great basketball player at Whitehouse High. I enjoyed having him as a brother. Spent lots of quality time together. I still think of some of the jokes he used to tell. He will always be in my memories. He was survived by his mom-Cleo Richardson, dad-Warren Richardson, brother-Larry, and 3 sisters, Felecia, Rhondale, and Kim. Dennis, we will always love you.
I have many fond memories of my Uncle Dennis. I remember my grandmother,Cleo Richardson, telling my brother Duron and I how we reminded her of Larry, my father, and Dennis. He was taken away from us far too soon but he will always live on in my heart. He would always tell me to smile even when you don't want to. "A smile changes any situation for the better," he would say. As much as I hurt and long to see him I smile because I know he would want me to. I know he is smiling down on me. I love you Uncle Dennis.
