Donna has been gone for 20 years this year, and I still miss her everyday. I miss her laugh, her smile, and most of all her friendship. My most fond memories of Donna Gail is our trip to Europe, the cruises we took in the Caribbean, and of course the two year years we spent as room mates at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She may be gone but never forgotten!
Donna was such a beautiful person inside and out. I miss her laugh and smile. She was so much fun to be around. Thanks for the memories Donna. God truly has an angel in heaven.
Donna had an amazing effect on everyone that she met and touched so many lives in her lifetime. I got tickled and had to hold back laughter in church (or class, or band rehearsal) too many times. WHS, TJC, SFA. Good memories. I remember you, my friend.
Donna Gail - where do I begin to tell you how you touched the lives of so many people, especially mine. Yor positive attitude, your personality and beauty never ceased to amaze me. The trips on the weekend to Houston to sit with you when you were sick, the smile and courage that never left your heart and soul. The summer you came home from college and stayed with me, Terry and "The Dogs". It was a sheer pleasure to have you such a strong part of my life. Until we meet again, which we will.....I know you have made heaven an even greater place than anyone can even imagine....with your crazy azz....
Some of my fondest memories of Donna were after I left Whitehouse and went to Chapel Hill. Both of our Dad's were in the Sharon Temple Horse Patrol. We got to ride their horses either to warm them up or cool them off. Her Dad's horse's name was Buck if my memory serves me right and our horse's name was Sugar. We would just talk and ride together and laugh alot. I sure miss those times. Jan
Donna holds such a special place in my heart. We have been friends since 1st grade and I have so many special memories. Our families took vacations together and we always had so much fun. After high school we went to SFA and were roomies in the "towers" dorm. We thought we were such big shots!! I will never forget you Donna. When I go to the cemetery to spend time with my dad I always go and spend time with you but you already knew that!! Heaven has such a "special" angel now that you are there. You know I have a friend that always says to me "may angels watch over you" and I always tell her their names are Donna and Dad!!
Not a Day goes by that I do not think of our sweet Donna Gail. Sometimes I think I have her in my mind ALL the time. I have never missed anything nor anyone as much as I have missed Donna. I do not think I ever will. For me, My heart has been broken since April of 1988.
