Whiteville Senior High School
Class of 1975
Phyllis Betts contacted me and asked that we attempt to get a 40 yr reunion started. Sounded great to me. Ricky Tyree, Barbara Pridgen, and Karen Lewis Scott have also volunteered to help. We have set a tentative date of October 9,10. The 9th is Homecoming. WHS will be playing Red Springs. That can be an evening for anyone who wants to get together at the football game. The 10th would be the reunion.
We do not have a venue at this time. The plan at this time is for those whovolunteer to plan, and there is room for more, to meet somewhere in Whiteville on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in late April or early May.
Everything is tentative at this time but at least we have something started. It has been 20 years since we have gathered together. We have lost quite a few of our old friends and I would love to see all of you before we go ten more years. I believe there are quite a few who feel as I do. Those that planned and worked so hard on the first two reunions are appreciated and certainly invited to participate this time. We can use this website to relay information, register, and purchase tickets once the plans are finished.
