Brian Johnston

 Elkhorn: Brian Paul Johnston, 61, of Sunnyside Home, Elkhorn, WI, died Sunday, June 21, 2015, at William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran Hospital Madison, WI.  He was born May 25, 1954, in Green Bay, WI, son of the late William F. and Gladys M. (Mueller) Johnston. Brian served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict, from 1973 until 1977, stationed at Pearl Harbor, HI; after that, he served in the Army National Guard. Brian was a member of the Delavan American Legion Post #95. His hobbies included fishing and amateur radio. He is survived by his four siblings: Barbara (Don) Bratcher of Minocqua, WI; Bruce (Susanne) Johnston of Menomonie, WI; Brad (Kim) Johnston of Palm Bay, FL; and Brenda (Harry) Manning of Fairview, TX; and by several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2015, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth Street, Elkhorn, WI, with Deacon Phil Kilkenny officiating.  Visitation will be at the church from 3:30 PM until time of service.  Burial with military rites will be 9:00 AM Friday at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com. Arrangements completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI.
