Rest in peace, Pete. Your kindness, wisdom, and laughter touched so many lives. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew you.

The only high school reunion I attended, our 20th, was a mixed experience for me, but I vividly remember Pete's presence there. I think most of us remember him from school, kind of goofy, always fun and upbeat. At the reunion, he played a different role. I watched him move from one knot of friends to the next, asking us all thoughtful and probing questions, encouraging us to share meaningful memories. He was awesome that night, and I've never forgotten.

Blessings and Godspeed, Pete.

Even though I knew him remotely (or from afar) I have good memories of his smiling face and enthusiasm.  Condolences to his family

Pete teamed up with some other classmates as I recall to book a suite at the hotel for one of our reunion afterparties...a gracious gesture. Our hearts go out to his sister...Susie, Class of '66...and other family members...it's hard to lose a sibling...godspeed to peace and gratitude.
