Linda Sue Reed, age 76 of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 17th, 2026. Linda was born December 28th, 1949, in Maywood, California, to Arthur Edward Kebble and Thelma Marie Kebble. She graduated from Whittier High School in 1968 and attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Linda primarily worked as a clerical office manager, utilizing her organizational skills for day-to-day operations.
Linda married Mike Reed on March 30th, 1993, in Barrington, Illinois, who preceded her in death. Linda and Mike lived a beautiful and loving life together for 31 years in Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and found their forever home in Sebring, Florida, on the shore of Lake Ruth. Linda’s grandmother’s name was Ruth, so she knew it was meant to be. Linda always considered and called herself a California Girl.
Linda had a sincere passion for animals and wildlife, donating time at local wildlife habitats such as the Nature Center Land Between the Lakes in Trigg Co. Kentucky, and Highlands County Humane Society, where she met Salley her Puggle Pug pup in 2017 that became her Bestie and partner in crime enjoying daily walks, treats and devoted time with each other on the patio daily. Linda enjoyed reading, and Sally enjoyed sniffing new and interesting things. One could ask who saved who; let’s just say they saved each other.
Linda’s hobbies consisted of traveling with Mike, taking pictures for their Topless Cruisers Convertible Car Club in Cadiz, Kentucky. Linda enjoyed collecting recipes, taking photos, and putting photo albums together, including family genealogy. She also enjoyed spending time at Disneyland, enjoying the Happiest Place on Earth and taking in its magical experiences. Linda made sure she spent time traveling and creating adventures with her grandson, Seth, and enjoyed a good game of Pac-Man and a glass of wine to relax after a long week with her brother Mike.
Linda attended First Christian Church in Cadiz, Kentucky, and Sebring, Florida. Linda also volunteered her time at both churches, providing her organizational skills in the office, and worked with the production team on live feeds on YouTube and Facebook for the church worship services.
Linda is survived by her son Jason of Michigan and grandson Seth Magnotti of Kingsburg, California, her brother Michael Kebble and wife Linda of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, her nephew Dustin Kebble of Madison, Wisconsin, niece Chelsea, great nephew Robert, Elliott, and great niece Charlotte Jean Anderson of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Linda felt she was quiet and shy, yet she built friendships with many who adored her dearly. Linda Sue, you will be missed by many!
