Sue Nowell passed away on March 25, 2025 at the age of 74.
From Kathy Dunn Doak: Rest in Paradise, Sue. Thank you for being my best friend and for all the memories, high school through adulthood. It was a blast!
Sue and I had a class together...she had a great sense of humor and we laughed our heads off. I was her escort when she was crowned Homecoming Queen...she was beautiful as I'll always remember her with that long blond hair, stunning smile and we had a blast gallavanting around town before and after the game and dance in the brand new covertible supplied by a local dealer for the event. I ran into her on Facebook many years later and we renewed our friendship from afar, discussing the disturbing political events of the last decades. She went silent online some time ago and I'd been meaning to try to get her number from someone for a welfare check. Off to the universe my sweet friend...you are stardust after all ❣️

Sue was the very first friend I made after moving to Whittier the summer of '67. I will always remember her fondly. Rest in peace dear soul.
