Roy Bookout, Jr HALTOM CITY -- Roy Dean Bookout, Jr, 64, of Haltom City, passed away suddenly on Jan 4, 2018. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2 pm Saturday at St. Luke UMC, 3200 Denton Hwy. Roy was born in Wichita Falls April 8, 1953, graduated from WFHS in 1971 and moved to Fort Worth in 1979. He drove a truck for over 40 years, the last 24 as an OTR driver, the last 3 with his wife of 21 years riding shot gun. The lights of his life were his wife, three sons and their families. He is preceded in death by his father, RD Bookout, Sr and mother-in-law, Margie Worthington. SURVIVORS: Wife, Anita Bookout; sons, Paul Coursey (Jodie), Ron Coursey (Crystal) and David Coursey; grandchildren, Justyn, Payton, Jaiden, Alicia and Lawrence; mother, Bea Gragg; brothers, Phil and Randy Bookout; sister, Sheryl Bookout; father-in-law, Bill Worthington; sister-in-law, Nancy Hall (Roy).
