wichita falls - Kenneth Glenn Byas, 65, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away Friday, March 2, 2018.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Tage Cemetery in Bowie, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Kenny was born in Madera, California on October 27, 1952. He graduated from Wichita Old High School and went on to play college football. On December 26, 1974, Kenny married Ann Mapes. Kenny retired from Yellow Freight after many years. He enjoyed their yearly vacations to Cuchara, Colorado and Ruidoso, New Mexico, watching football, and having family gatherings on the patio while listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, DeDe and Jean Byas; his wife, Ann Byas; and his brother, Jerry Byas.
He is survived by his three children, Laurie Lee, Brandon Byas and wife Beverly, and Annie Byas all of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren, Taryn Byas, Brianna Byas, and Brayden Byas; and many other relatives and friends.
