Leeila Poivre, 62, of Iowa Park passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Mike Rucker officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Poivre was born December 27, 1952 in San Antonio, TX to her parents, Joseph A. Fox, Jr. and Edwina Fox. She was a near lifelong resident of the Wichita Falls area and was a member of Bible Baptist Church here. She married Tommy Poivre on February 24, 2000 in Wichita Falls and together, they raised his children. Leeila was a faithful employee and a loving wife, mother, stepmother and grandmother. She leaves behind not only family, but many friends who will miss her.

Leeila was preceded in death by her father, Joe A. Fox, Jr.; a brother, Cody Gene Fox and a sister, Sandra Kay Fox.

Surviving are her husband, Tommy Poivre of Iowa Park; mother, Edwina Fox of Wichita Falls; a son, David Bruton and wife Tammy of Sherman, TX; stepchildren, Jon Poivre and Jessica Poivre, both of Iowa Park; brothers, Dennis Fox of San Diego, CA and Stephen Fox of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Joyce Poivre of Burkburnett and sisters-in-law, Kathy McGuire of Goddard, KS and Jamie Johnson of Houston.
