Hey Tina, 31-31 Tie. Lucky him because if I remember correctly Ol Joe Bob Tyler had us ease off the gas because he didnt want us to ruin the lives of those graduating from other schools that year. And tell him as far as bands go, Rider may have a band, BUT WE HAD A BAND AND A LAND!
On a side note, tell him welcome to the "Yote" family. and you gotta love the new ROHO acronym.

Patrick,

It will be hard to believe but I married a Rider girl. I think she was in third grade when we graduated, but she's 6ft 3in and looks like a super model so I thought I could deal with it. We've gone to every Rider Old High game the last eight years and the deal was we would sit on the home team side every year. I haven't lived up to the deal I just can't sit on the same side with a bunch of idiots. So I think I've turned her into a coyote. She has seen that being a Coyote is the only way to be. I also convinced her that our Son will no way in hell go to Rider. I've pretty much convinced my four year old that Rider sucks and he boos everytime they run on the field. So mission accomplished.

See everyone at the reunion.

Woodruff

Robert I am going to put you up for parent of the year. You set a fine example of what a parent should instill in their kids. NUTHIN BUT YOTE POWER BABY!!!! By the way I ran into Michelle or Rudie as we most remember her and guess where in of all places....The Old High Front office. I was there getting my mission orders from Coyote Command to execute Operation Slap-A-Raider Goes into effect November 7th.(actually my stepdaughter had a Dr's Appointment).
On a side note, those of you with kids at Rider, what side are ya'll sitting on that day? Continue doing your part of taking over Rider with that Yote Spirit by sending ya kids to that Old High Knockoff of a school. That is by no means an endorsement for ya'll to have more babies.

ok Alice, Ill work on it this weekend. You may have to call me and let me know what you did..... and what you actually wanted done ;).

Michelle "Rudie" Sheppard (Barton)

Ok Patrick, I knew it wouldn't take you long to get on here after we saw each other the other day! Yes, Two of my three kids go to Rider (third one not there yet, not old enough, but she is actually asking if she can go to Old High) My boys started going to Rider mainly do to convenience but also for the band program, its really better at Rider, anyway they also went to McNeil and was in the band and there you get groomed for the Rider band. Anyway long story short I know its all in fun all the "love" I'm gonna feel after this response but I support my kids no matter what school they attend and anyway there will always be a place in my heart for Old High especially when the kids aren't at Rider anymore!! Maybe I'll just stand in the middle at the game with black, red and gold colors on!!

Second....

I am currently building the slide show that will be shown during our get together @ the school. Only a few people have sent in any photos to add. Please send the things that you want to ...... Steve4rdtx@yahoo.com and put "Reunion photos" In the subject line. (school year stuff and "then and now" photos only please") As much as I would love to think you all want to see..... My 2 yr old son reading the news paper on his potty wont quite make the cut. :)

Candy Dewey (McClellan)

Hey everyone, Jason I wanted to thank you for added me on. I would also like to say I can't wait to see all of you. I messed up on the registration too. I need 2x for the tshirt. I know I made some bad choices and did not get to walk the stage with you all but that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I now have three teenage daughters who are all in high school and I push education. I also now have my Associates in Art as of May 2006 and I am working on Bachelors in Accounting. I wanted to thank you all for letting me be a part of this reunion. God Bless you all and I cannot wait to see everyone again its been a long time.

Candy Dewey (McClellan)

Thanks Tracy I was really going back and forth on whether I was ready to face everyone again (ashamed of the way I was) But I am a stronger more respectful person now and cant wait to start new friendship and put that all behind me. I cannot wait to see everyone.

Jennifer Giacalone (McReynolds)

Candy-we have all done things that we are not proud of. Honestly what did any of us really know at 18? But think about this, if we didn't have those experiences we wouldn't be who we are now. How wonderful it is going to be to celebrate the people we are now with old frinds who knew us when!

09/26/08 07:41 PM #60

Candy Dewey (McClellan)

Thanks Jennifer, I am just glad to see that everyone that is going is doing well. Did you ever think that 20 years would go by so fast? But to be honest with you we all are son lucky to be able to celebrate 20 years. And I am so looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. This is a blessing for all of us.

Bobbi Patterson (Hart)

Hey everyone! I need Amy or Steve F. to call me @ 682-478-9807. I will not be able to make it to the saturday events and wanted to know what my cost for the game and t-shirt will be. I have left Amy a couple of messages, but have not heard back. We are all busy and I do not want to miss out on the part I can make! Hope everyone is well and can't wait to see you.

10/03/08 02:31 PM #64

Brandi Huffer (Wright)

Steve/Amy,
Is there a reduced cost if you are unable to attend certain parts of the reunion?

10/04/08 12:03 AM #65

Steve Ford

Sorry Brandi, nope. :( When we started planning this out we figured that it would take a full time job to keep up with who payed how much for what and what each person would and would not get for the cost, so the six of us just added up the cost for the catering, the shirts, the people that have to be paid and rental equipment and divided it out the best out mathematically challenged brains could.

10/05/08 01:29 AM #66

Mark Woodward

Hey Steve, I forgot to mark what size shirt I need. Make it a XL.

Thanks
