Ellan Maurine Burton, 61, of Midlothian, TX, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Ennis, TX.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 31st at 2pm at Midlothian Bible Church in Midlothian, TX. Dave Wyrtzen, Pastor Teacher, and Layne Mershimer, Executive Pastor will officiate.

Ms. Burton had a passion for learning and obtained three Masters degrees during her lifetime.

Ms. Burton was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Ellen Burton, and a grand-daughter, Abigail Faith Clifton. Survivors include a daughter, Melanie Clifton and husband Brett of Midlothian, TX; a son, Michael Blair and wife Tonia of Allen, TX; a brother, Raymond Burton and wife Barbara of Wichita Falls, TX; five grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
