SSSGT. 101 st Airborne Robert Anthony Denton was killed in Quang Tri Vietnam 5/6/1970. He was in the front line less than a week . He went in first saving many of his platoon. I have several letters from his comrades and family. Robert and I had one son Robert Anthony Denton Jr. 9/6/69. Robert attended Henrietta High School where he lettered in football and track. He recieved a neck injury whole playing football his Junior year The following year he attended W.F.H.S. and was on swim team. We married 1/26/1968. He was employed by United Electric before being drafted. Robert was known as Big Red for his beautiful Dark red hair and crazy sense of humor. Our son Robert Anthony Denton Jr. Robbie is the name Robert insisted he go by in Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend Robbie Sargent . Robbie follows his Dad's wishes and always will .
