James Ridley Douglas, You passed on yesterday, but Lord knows that you will never be forgotten! Brother, You were my nemesis and also my protector as a kid. In later years, we could commiserate on everything from politics to Longhorn Football --- serious conversations, but funny at the same time.
Those who were fortunate enough to know you well, know how smart, stubborn, hilarious and compassionate you were.
You were easy to get made at, but somehow you tricked us out of our anger. You never played the game. You lived life on your own terms.
I can only imagine how much Chio, Patrick, and Michael will miss you. I know you adored them.
James Ridley, you were one of a kind, and I will miss hearing you say " Love ya', darlin'." I love you and I will see you later, Big Brother.
