Shirley Ann Gardner, 58, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008, in Wichita Falls.

The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
A daughter of the late George and Frances Marie (Evans) Gardner, she was born August 8, 1950, in Wichita Falls, Texas. For the past 12 years, Shirley worked in the Human Resources Department for TDCJ Allred Unit. She was a loving mother, and devoted grandmother. Her joy in life was being with her granddaughter, and being involved in all her activities.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Don Gardner.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Summers and Tina Carroll, both of Wichita Falls; two brothers, James Gardner and wife Dee of Oak Harbor, Washington State, and Henry Gardner of Wichita Falls; her granddaughter, ShyAnn Carroll of Wichita Falls; nieces, Carol and husband Ivan, Sandy and husband Dennis, Mary, and Robin; nephews, Brian, Michael, and Syl; and her sister-in-law, Retha Gardner.
