Virginia Lea ‘Ginny’ Fortner, 64, of Wichita Falls, died on Monday, November 10, 2014.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Bindel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late Suevilla (Coker) and Ottis Golleher, Ginny was born on January 25, 1950, in Quanah, Texas. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Ginny adored her grandchildren and very proudly supported their theater, choir and athletic endeavors. Most recently she was excited to see her older grandson, Joseph perform the lead in a musical at his high school and watch her younger grandchild, Daniel, play for his 7th grade football team.

Along with her parents, Ginny was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Golleher and Garvis Golleher. She is survived by her son, Patrick Fortner and wife, Carrie, of Austin, TX; grandsons, Joseph Fortner and Daniel Fortner, both of Austin, TX; sister, Lillian Nolte and husband, Marvin, of Megargel, TX; nieces, Linda Treadway, Judy Bomar, Dawn Wilkinson and Amy Pugh; nephew, Randy Lamme; and former husband, Gary Fortner.
