Roy Dwyane Huston

Roy Dwayne Huston, 67, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Wichita Falls. He was born on June 28, 1949 in Ft. Worth to the late Jesse Franklin Huston and Bertha Mae Sanders Huston. Roy served his country in the National Guard, was a member of Western Heritage Church in Dean and had worked in sales for Town Square Media.

He was affectionately known as Pawpaw by many and was in charge of collections for the Fantasy of Lights for many years. Roy was a member of the Optimist Club, CASI and participated in many international chili cook-offs throughout the years. He also worked for 30 years in bringing the World of Wheels to Wichita Falls.

He is survived by his brother, Donald Huston of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Freida Huston Lundy of Elk City, OK; nieces and nephews, Billy Don Huston, Cindy Huston, Melisa Huston Bedunah, Angela Huston Jackson, and Donald Raymon Huston, Jr; numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Franklin Huston, Jr.

Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Brandon Dunn officiating.
