FORT WORTH - Thomas (Tom) Redden, 57, left this world to join his wife in the kingdom of heaven Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gateway Church in Southlake. Graveside service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Memorials: in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fellowship of the Sword Ministry, 800 North Jim Wright Freeway, Building 2, White Settlement, Texas, 76108.
Thomas was born May 11, 1950, in Memphis, Tenn., and grew up in many places before attending Wichita Falls High School where he met and married his wife, Jeanine. After being stationed in Texas and Germany with the U.S. Air Force, he served out the rest of his time at Holloman Air Force Base near Alamogordo, N.M., where he lived with his family from 1982 until 1998. The entire family relocated in 1998 to Fort Worth. He was payroll manager for Administaff for the last 10 years and was a member of the Texas Millionaires, Barbershop Harmony Society. Tom also served on the United Way board for several years in Alamogordo.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Jeanine Burns Redden; brother, Jesse; and father-in-law, Frank Burns.
Survivors include his mother, Pearl Holmes; son, Rick Redden and wife, Christy; grandson, Zachery Redden; step-grandsons, Chase and Preston; daughter, Staci Redden and her longtime love, LaDell Ferrell and his son, Trevor; brothers, Walter Redden, Mitch Redden and Gary Redden; mother-in-law, Allie Fay Prettyman; brother and sister-in-law, Sunny and Judy Stutts; nieces, Michelle Smith and Jennifer Pierce; and a host of other family and friends.
