Ronald Douglas “Ronnie” Smith, 61, of Wichita Falls died Friday, November 11, 2011, at his home. A graveside service has been scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2011, in Crestview Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Craig Lyle of Faith Baptist Church.

Ronnie was born June 22, 1950, in Wichita Falls to Mike Vernon and Ruby Estelle (Almond) Smith. He married Karen Cox July 7, 1972, in Wichita Falls and together they raised one daughter. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Midwestern University and went on to earn his “Masters of Banking” at SWSB while he was working for Parker Square Bank. He then owned and operated I Deal Auto, a wholesale car dealership. He was a member of Tenth and Broad Church of Christ and the Optimist Club. He loved collecting different things but his pride and joy was his extensive Hot Wheels collection.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Ruby Smith; brother, Donald Vernon Smith; and nephew, Mike Bradley Smith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Karen Smith; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Tommy Jeter; and adored grandson, Riley Jeter.
