Jefferson Glen "Jeff" Bangs, 58, of Wichita Falls, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012.  

The son of the late Glen and Wilma Bangs, he was born on December 5, 1953 in Rolla, Missouri.  He moved with his family to Wichita Falls in 1959.  He was a life-long resident of Wichita Falls.  As a boy, he loved the outdoors and he was an excellent competitive swimmer.  He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at age 14.  Jeff graduated from Wichita Falls High in 1973.  He owned and worked his commercial painting business JB Painting in Wichita Falls.  Jeff loved fishing with his friends, his motorbikes, backyard barbeques and long hikes with his dog "Sam".  He enjoyed attending church and was a witness to healing faith.  He was surrounded by steadfast friends who loved him and will miss him.  Jeff was a resident of Royal Estates and in his final days, he was in the loving care of Hospice of Wichita Falls.  

Jeff is survived by his devoted sister Bobbie Jo Cornelius and his brother-in-law Tom Cornelius of Austin.  He is also survived by two nephews, Jason Cornelius of Washington DC and Byron Cornelius of Austin.
