Kelly Grace Hood Pohl, a devoted daughter, sister, mother and Christian left her family on January 5, 2003, to be with her Lord.  She was born Lillian Kelly Grace Hood in San Antonio, Texas on June 19th (Father's Day) 1955.  She spent the first eighteen years of her life in Wichita Falls.  She moved to Austin, Texas in 1973 to attend Concordia University.  In August of 1976, Kelly worked at Pohl, Brown, and Associates as a real estate agent.  There she met her future husband William Bestor Pohl.  They were married August 20, 1977.  

Kelly is survived by her parents Betty Grace Hood and Jefferson Frank Hood of Fort Worth, Texas, husband of 23 years William Bestor Pohl of Austin, Texas; children Jeffrey Don Pohl of Austin; Mindy Grace Pohl of Houston; Jennifer Pohl of Austin; Brooke Pohl of Austin; step-daughters Amy Pohl Reid and husband Todd David Reid and their children Cole and Blake of Telluride, Colorado; and Natalie Pohl Horlock and husband Roy Mac Horlock Jr.. and their children Trip and Keller of Houston; sister Mindy Jane Hood Powell and her husband Kenneth Powell and their son Cody of Round Rock, Tx; half-sister Sharon Walker and husband Bill Walker of Frisco, Texas; half-brothers Jefferson Frank "Sunny" Hood Jr and wife Donna Hood of Arlington, Tx; Joseph Bridwell Hood and wife Donna Hood of Wichita Falls, TX.

Kelly was preceded in death by her half-sister Susan Gail Hood Hughes of Abilene, TX.
