Bobby Joe Moffitt, Jr., 51, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2006 in Wichita Falls.

Bobby was born on October 24, 1054, in Wichita Falls, to Bobby Jo, Sr. and Frankie (Travis) Moffitt.  He married Rita Kay Spears on April 1, 1979.  He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Game Knot Chess Club.

He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Joe Moffitt, Sr. and brother Daniel Lawler.

Survivors include his wife Rita Moffitt, mother Frankie Moffitt, son Jeremy Moffitt of Wichita Falls, sister Norma Melton and husband Bobby of Wichita Falls and Nelda Preston and husband Dave of Wichita Falls and brother Tony Moffitt of Wichita Falls.
