Dolan T. Rives passed away on Jan. 2, 2007.  Dolan was born April 23, 1955.  He was an honor graduate of Wichita Falls High School and attended Midwestern University.  He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Vigil Honor Order of the Arrow.  He worked as a plumber for Truman Rives Plumbing Company for 31 years.  In 2000, he began Truman Rives and Son Plumbing Company.  

Dolan was an avid sportman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  In 1993, he won a Texas Big Game Award for taking one of Texas' finest white-tailed deer.

Survivors include his parents, Truman and Lou Ella Rives; sister, Lenora Huffington and husband, Monty of Plano, Tx; niece Rachael Griffin and husband, Randy; nephew, Mark Huffington and wife Dayna and a great-nephew, Logan Huffington.
