Pearl Rodriquez (LaChance) VIEW PROFILE

Pearl Rodriguez LaChance, 50, passed away September 4, 2005 following a prolonged fight with cancer.

Pearl was born December 7, 1954 in Fort Worth to Pete and Lola Rodriguez.  She married Robert William LaChance on October 10, 1972 in Adrian, Texas.   She worked as a massage therapist.  Pearl was very active with the League of Women Voters and also the local Democratic Party.  She had also worked with the M.S. Society and with Cub Scouts, where she was a den mother.  Pearl had also donated her hair to the Locks of Love program.

Pearl was a member of Floral Heights United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, and was also a member of the Open Door Sunday School Class.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Y. Lola Rodriguez and her brother, Pete Rodriguez, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Robert William LaChance, II and his wife Helen of Hartford, Conn., two grandchildren, Will and Cosette LaChance, two special nieces Anna Lew Ratiu of Irvine, Calif., and Elizabeth Ruth Rodriguez of Pittsburgh, PA.; her father Pete Rodriguez of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law Mary Rodriguez of Wichita Falls, brother Rupert Rodriguez and wife Margaret of Wichita Falls; sister Mary McDonald and husband Pat of Wichita Falls, sister Annie Andrews and husband Father Mark Andrews of White Haven, PA; brother David Rodriguez and wife Jane of Phoenix, Ariz.
