Brenda Sue Williams (Langford) VIEW PROFILE

Brenda Sue Williams Langford, 57, of Wichita Falls, went home to heaven on Sunday, June 17, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer.  

Brenda earned an associate degree in nursing in 1998 and worked as an RN at HIS Hospital in Wichita Falls for a period of time before joining Intelli-Staff as a travelling RN.  Her assignments included hospitals in Houston, Corpus Christ and Fort Worth.  She eventually went to work at Herman Memorial Hospital in Beaumont, TX.  She worked in that area for a period of time before returning home to Wichita Falls.  Prior to her nursing career, she worked at Howmet for 10 years.

Brenda enjoyed gardening and her church family at City View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Bryan Garcia of Wichita Falls and daughter Toni Barker of Beaumont, TX.  Grandchildren include Jasmine Barker of Beaumont, TX; Phenix Garcia of Beaumont, TX, Andres Garcia of Fort Worth, TX and Tatum Mannin of Beaumont, TX.  Brenda is also survived by her sister, Pam Orozco; sister Debby Harvey and her husband Pete Harvey, all of Wichita Falls, and half-sister Mary Beth McCutcheon of Rogers, Ark.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Williams of Wichita Falls; father Zennie L. Williams Jr., of Chickasha, OK; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Maudie Williams of Wichita Falls; paternal grandparents, Zennie L. Williams, Sr., and Emily Williams of Ninnekah, OK.

Brenda was loved by many relatives and friends and will be missed by all, but most especially by her children Bryan and Toni and her granddaughter, Jasmine.
