Richard Lee Maxwell

Wichita Falls - Richard Lee Maxwell, 74, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16th at Lunn's. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17th at Charlie Cemetery in Charlie, Texas, with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Sybil (Raper) and Robert L. Maxwell, Richard was born on August 12, 1946, in Olney, Texas. He graduated from Rider High School and then joined the National Guard. Richard owned and operated Maxwell Bulldozing. He loved golfing, gambling, dancing and spending time with his wife and family.

Along with his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his daughter, Niki.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hair Maxwell; sons, Dickey Maxwell and wife, Zoila; and Willie Harmon and wife, Lisa; daughter, Christine Harmon; two grandchildren, Haley Ann Harmon and Kimberly Grace Maxwell; and many friends. He will be dearly missed.
