Brenda Carol Rasile, 64, died Sunday, January 9, 2011, in Wichita Falls.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Hoa Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
The daughter of Betty Stewart and Jerome Thomas, she was born January 31, 1946, in Quanah. Brenda was an elementary school teacher for 32 years. For many of those years she taught 4th grade at Ben Franklin Elementary School prior to her retirement. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. On September 28, 1991, she married Tony Rasile in Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and step-father, Gene Stewart. Survivors include: husband, Tony; sons, Garland Rasberry and wife, Michelle of Austin, Darrin Rasberry and fiancé Mary Fleming of Bondurant. Iowa, step-son, Chris Rasile and wife Jennifer of Graham; brother, Jerry Thomas and wife, Jani of Wichita Falls, her precious grandchild, Reese Rasberry of Austin, a nephew, Ryan Thomas of New Orleans, Louisiana and a niece, Leah Thomas of Wichita Falls.
A Christian wake and rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011, with Deacon Larry Bills conducting, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
