Martha Gayle Rogers (Lane Keller) VIEW PROFILE

Wichita Falls - Martha Rogers Lane Keller, 73, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2021, after a lengthy illness.

Martha was born on June 13, 1947. She was a devout Christian and baptized in the faith at Southwest Baptist Church. Martha graduated from Rider H.S. in 1965 before attending Midwestern State University. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and community leader, Martha held many positions throughout her life, including President of the City Council PTA and Executive Director of both the Mental Health and Parents Anonymous Associations before working in the oil and gas industry.

Martha was predeceased by parents Opal and Moral Rogers, brothers Tommy and Bobby Rogers, and first husband, Bill Lane. She is survived by her son Brian Lane, second husband David Keller, sister Wanda Hughes, and brother Dale Rogers, along with many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Following the death of her first husband, Martha was reintroduced to David Keller, an acquaintance from her high school years, and they later married in 2009. Martha enjoyed entertaining, visiting with family and friends, and was an avid and gifted bridge player. She will always be known as having a welcome and inviting heart and home with an endless supply of Dr. Pepper.

Visitation will be Monday, April 5, from 6-7 p.m.at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, with a service on Tuesday, April 6 starting at 1:00 PM also at Lunn's and a graveside service following.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
