Tim and I go all the way back to bitty basketball and the four square days at Osage rec center. I had heard he had plans on coming to our 35 year reunion and was looking forward to seeing him again. He passed just a few weeks before. It saddened me when I heard of his passing.
I did not realize Tim had passed away. We had a great talk at the 30 yr reunion. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago we all were playing basketball at Osage and Truesdell rec center . I am sorry to hear that about Tim. Even though we walked different paths ,there was a mutual friendship there. Tim may you rest in peace!!!
Greg...thanks for sharing your thoughts! Tim and I were close all through out our school days from grade school through high school. Yes we all walked our own paths but we never can forget those times we were together. As Jeff stated we loved our Osage days and will always have the memories of that. Osage closed down a few years back and I miss it even today.
Tim and I met in Coach Ender's gym class in 7th grade. We remained friends thru High School and worked together at Pierce's Thriftway at Pawnee and Meridian. We lost touch after that but had a great time reconnecting a few years ago at a South High football game. I remember Tim as a gifted athlete, sincere person and good friend. He will be missed by many.
Yes ,Bill, I first got to know Tim in 7th grade on the basketball team . I can still see him dribbling the ball down to the wing position and putting up that left handed shot for two . It always saddens me to see one of our classmates pass. I know we are getting older but I don't see us as old . Just to young!!!
Greg we lost another one as well. Charles Newman he went by Chuck as well. I have always been a good friend with Tim. His sister called me of Tim's passing.
