Jerry L. Herrington Obituary
Jerry was born on October 16, 1944 and passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Jerry was a resident of Kansas at the time of passing. Memorial Gathering at the North Side Church of Christ at 2:00 PM on February 4, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to North Side Church of Christ 4545 N. Former minister, now in heaven
Wife: Pat Garrett Herrington, Six sons, five daughters in law, 10 grandchildren
After working for many years in outside sales along the east coast for the oilfield industry, Jerry became a preacher in the New York City area, also sold IBM computers in the World Trade Center. He retired back home in Wichita, ministered in the Sedgwick County Jail, reared six godly leaders and missionaries, and taught many how to become Christians. He wanted each person to know that God says someone is going to have to suffer God's wrath for your sin--will it be you? or Jesus?
