Daryl W. Cooper's Obituary
Daryl Wayne Cooper, 70, passed away on February 15, 2026 at his home in Wichita, Kan. He was born on December 24, 1955 in Wichita to Wayne and Gladys (Adkisson) Cooper.
Daryl, a 1974 graduate of Wichita East High, was a self-employed house painter, an all-around Fix-It guy and excelled in wood work/carpentry. Daryl truly enjoyed people. He seldom met a stranger and was equally at home with children, teens, and seniors of all ages.
His favorite teasing phrase was, “Are you helpless, or hopeless?”. But Daryl would always help those in need, or provide encouragement to the hopeless.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters; Wilma Hart (Steve) and Regena Tinius (Barry), seven nieces and nephews, and fourteen grandnieces and nephews.
