
Brian Kent Slaughter
Brian Kent Slaughter, 58, died of a heart attack on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, while at his home in Rogers, Ark.
Brian was born in Wichita, Kan., in 1956, graduated from Wichita East High School in 1974, joined the United States Navy in 1974, with an Honorable Discharge in 1976, and moved to Rogers, Ark., in 1977 where he happily spent the remainder of his life.
After obtaining a degree in industrial maintenance from Northwest Vocational Technical School, he became a longtime employee of Tyson Foods from 1985 to 2012, and then most recently Pinnacle Foods in 2014.
Brian loved his family, good food, a good laugh, and spending time on Beaver Lake with his friends and loved ones.
He is survived by his loving partner, Carol Bradley; his son, Jason Slaughter and wife, Patricia; his grandson, Aiden Slaughter; his granddaughter, Caitlyn Slaughter; his nephew, Dustin Slaughter; and his brother, Robin Slaughter.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Slaughter; his mother, Louella Slaughter; and his brother, Cary Slaughter.
