Cynthia Ann Bays, age 60 passed away at the home on Sunday, October 22, 2017. A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas on Wednesday, October 25th at 2:00 PM.

Cynthia Ann Bays was born on November 29, 1956 to Edwin and Betty (Breightzlutz) Fenn in Wichita Kansas. Cindy attended and graduated from high school in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating, Cindy attended Independence Community College and majored in nursing. Cindy was a member of the first graduating class of the nursing program at ICC. Cindy worked as a Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital and various nursing homes in the area.

With her spare time, Cindy enjoyed crafting, needlework and spending time with her dogs.

Those left to cherish Cindy's memory include, son, Justin Bays of Independence, daughter-in-law, Tami Bays, of Independence, sister, Janet Inlow, of Wichita, brother, Eddie Fenn, of Wichita, grandchildren, Tomi Watson, Austin Watson, and Karlee Watson, all of Independence.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Betty (Breightzlutz) Fenn, and sister, Mary Jo Fenn.
