I went to grade school through high school. She could play the piano like no one I have ever heard. She will be missed

I knew Toni when she was a Zimmerman. Like Linda Hager, we went through school starting at McLean elementary. I don't remember if we became friends at school or at the swimming pool, Twin Rivers but we were friends. One day in fifth grade, I believe, she wanted to tell me a secret. It was to be held sacred and never told. So at recess we crawled under the steps of the annex. She told me that her mom and dad were getting a divorce. I don't remember what exactly was said, just that it was very sad and extremely secret. We never spoke of it again and our friendship drifted away through the years and we never spoke of it again. But the memory has stayed with me of a tender moment in both our lives.

Tonie lived just down Richmond St. from me. We had a blast riding bikes, playing kickball at the park and sucking on lemons under the streetlight. She had an infectious laugh. I remember Tonie as an extremely kind person. We miss you, Tonie!

Tonie was the best! Always smiling and definitely laughing!! She introduced a new hair style and kept it forever! 30 year reunion she walked in and we said, "Tonie", she hadn't changed a bit!  We did have an opportunity to reconnect in the late 70's in Tucson AZ. Eddie and my husband Bryan were ball players and we were able to renew our friendship. RIP my friend, knowing you was a bright spot in my life 💕
