Judith Fellers
November 15, 1943 - March 28, 2022
Wichita, Kansas - Judith K. Fellers passed away Mar. 28th after a brief struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by loving family in her son's home. Judi was born Nov. 15, 1943 in Tulsa, OK to Walter and Opal Fellers. The family later moved to Wichita with her brother, Michael, where both proudly graduated from Wichita West High School. Judi married Jerry Mason and was gifted with their beloved Brad in 1966, later moving to Edmond, OK.
Judi was known for her love of family and friends; books, cars, and finding joy in most every moment. She loved to learn new things and attended multiple college courses in English, history and music. She became famous as Ms. Judi later in life as she taught children to read and love words, even receiving her personal crowning achievement of the Good Apple Award from Marshall Middle School of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. She is survived by her son, Brad; grandchildren Gareth, Sophie, Shea, Sadie, Kandace and Shi Wise; daughters-in-law, Susan and Carie. Judi was celebrated by family, friends, and high school graduates Mar. 31 in an intimate ceremony with tears and laughter. Donations to the Orpheum Theater and McCormick School Museum of Wichita give honor to a woman whose life was well-lived.
