June P. Carter (Haun)
Carter, June P. died July 14, 2016 in Wichita, KS, at the age of 72. She was born May 5, 1944 in California, to John P. and Ruth Ellen (Hiatt) Haun. June was a retired educational administrative assistant. As a grateful, humble and joyous woman, she embraced life and enjoyed every moment spent with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Mary Williams; and brother, John Haun. Survivors include her husband, Victor; children, David (Lisa) Scott, Andrea Stallard, Erik (Julie) Carter and Kellie Boles; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and brother-in-law, Bill Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at Old Mission Mortuary. She will be missed deeply by all those she touched during her lifetime. Heaven is her new home. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. I remember her so sweet to all the girls at West. She was so excited to be a cheerleader and gave it her all on the field and off. Slumber parties were always fun.
