My last contact with Larry Setser was in Norman, OK in 1972.  He was motoring from Chicago to Houston and learned my work address.  We had lunch at the new Westinghouse Electric plant in Norman.  His first job out of college had been as Sales Manager for an early version of desk-top computers (Mohawk, I believe).  Life was good, and Larry lived in Marina City Towers on the Chicago River--a famous architectural achievement and prime address.

Maybe Chicago's weather was intolerable, because he was headed for Houston in 1972--on the opposite end of the weather scale.  I moved to Chicago, myself, a couple of years later and survived the snow for 7 years.  (The secret is having an indoor, heated garage.)

So, Larry was a close friend at West High.  I'm sure that he was successful in his later career and personal life.  A genuinely nice guy.
