James Lyle "Jim" Lamb, 63, of Largo, Fla., died May 19, 2010. He was born Feb. 25, 1947, to Robert and Barbara Lamb.

He lived most of his life in Walworth County, graduating from Williams Bay High School in 1965. He was married to Lynn (Hatch) Lamb for 13 years. He moved to Florida in 1999.

According to his family, his life changed Nov. 3, 1988, shortly after he found Narcotics Anonymous. Once he made a home in N.A., he began to help countless others to get clean and stay clean. Some of the many service positions he held were at group, area and regional levels in Wisconsin and Florida.

A ceremony for family and close friends will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, at East Delavan Cemetery. A potluck luncheon for all friends of Jim, with time for memories and stories, will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Springs Park, located at the located on the south end of Terrace Street on Swan Creek in Delavan.
