Haakon and Cheryl Jorgenson, both rural Williston, died December 29, 1991, in a fire at their farm home near Williston.

Services were held January 2, 1992 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williston.  Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.

Cheryl A. Overby was born September 19, 1955, in Williston.  Mr. Jorgenson was born March 11, 1955, in Williston.  After their marriage, they established their home northwest of Williston, both attending University of North Dakota, Williston, Cheryl in the nursing program and Haakon in agriculture.

They were survived by one daughter, Christina; one son, Haakon Jr.; her mother, Evelyn Overby, Williston; her five sisters, Linda Panasuk, Bainville, MT, Sandy Bertelsen, Dickinson, Melodie Urbatsch, Karen Hirsch, and Micehlle Knutson all of Williston, her brother, Brent, Williston; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Haakon Jorgenson, Williston; his two brothers, LeRoy, and Larry, both of Williston; and his sister, Ann Kerr, Mesa, AZ.  (Everson Funeral Home, Williston)
