Funeral services for Travis Wayne Adams, 48, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.

Travis passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at his home in McKinney.

Travis Wayne Adams was born on February 28, 1971, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Charles Ray Adams and Sandra Maurine Matthews Adams. He moved to Wills Point in 1978 and later graduated from Wills Point High School. Travis then attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Religion. He was very involved with youth ministry in different churches over the years. Travis attended Turner Baptist Church while he lived in Wills Point. He moved to McKinney about ten years ago and worked as a teacher’s aide in special education for McKinney Independent School District. While living in McKinney, Travis attended Wadill Street Baptist Church. Travis loved playing the guitar and trombone and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. Travis will be remembered for his enthusiasm for the Lord, his love for his students, and his compassion for others.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Adams.

Travis is survived by his father, Charles Adams of Wills Point, TX, and daughter, Abigail Adams of Little Elm, TX.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-800 PM, Friday, February 7, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
